Join us on Friday, 6 June 2025 from 10am to 4pm as we participate in our Warnborough Foundation’s Community Engagement Day. On offer are a range of interesting activities and workshops (all FREE). Learn about what the Warnborough Foundation does, how to be a part of it all, and what community actions we can take.
Special (FREE) Workshops
Three workshops will be offered for free. They are:
- Colour YOU Confident – a special workshop for women by award-winning speaker, Sheila Caulfield. Learn how colour can change moods, embolden choices, and transform your life and career.
- Lyrics: Stories in Song – Learn how to write lyrics to convey meaning or tell a story or to express yourself. This session will be led by Dr Julian Ng, our CEO. His musical “Snakes!” took the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by storm in 2013 and 2014, with Elaine Paige calling it a ‘cult hit’.
- Addressing Mental Health in Construction – A workshop run by Dr John Gaal, director of the Missouri Works Initiative’s Worker Wellness Program looking at mental health in a traditionally-macho industry.
Workshops have limited places so will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please do not book unless you are 100% confident that you will be able to attend.
