Warnborough is pleased to announce the launch of its new online course in Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), developed and delivered by experienced agriculturalist and educator Maliviwe Manyakanyaka. With years of hands-on industry experience combined with a professional background in teaching, Maliviwe brings both practical insight and a clear understanding of how people learn best—making this course both accessible and highly relevant.
As climate change continues to reshape agricultural systems across the globe, the need for informed, adaptive approaches has never been greater. This course has been carefully designed to provide a strong foundation in Climate Science as it applies to agriculture, equipping learners with the knowledge and tools to respond to real-world challenges. Through a structured series of lessons, participants will explore climate risks, resilience strategies, sustainable farming practices, and the practical implementation of climate-smart solutions in both crop and livestock systems.
Maliviwe Manyakanyaka explains: “This course is about more than understanding climate change. It’s about helping people feel confident in applying that knowledge. Whether you’re a farmer, policymaker, student, or development practitioner, the aim is to make the learning practical, relevant, and usable in your own context.”
Designed for a wide audience from agricultural professionals and NGO staff to students and government officials, the course bridges the gap between theory and practice. It highlights not only the environmental importance of CSA, but also its role in improving productivity, strengthening food security, and supporting sustainable livelihoods.
By combining expert knowledge with a learner-focused approach, this course offers a valuable opportunity to build skills that are increasingly essential in today’s world. Enrolment is now open via the Warnborough website.
