We were honoured to be invited to join the EKC Canterbury College’s 2026 Student and Employer Awards on Monday, 29 June 2026. It was a very positive occasion with over 200 attendees, including students, staff and employer partners.
We were delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the students and to support the College in its mission to provide a meaningful bridge between learning and the world of work.
The event was emceed by Simon Dolby of East Kent Mind. EKC Canterbury College Principal, Emily Johnson, spoke of how proud she was of her students and the appreciation she had for the employers. A total of 46 students received awards, and 23 employers across East Kent were highlighted for their contributions to student and workforce development. Warnborough President, Dr Brenden Tempest-Mogg, and CEO, Dr Julian Ng, were there to receive an Employer Award in the Computing and Digital category for the work done with IT apprentices. Dr Julian went on stage to receive the award on behalf of Warnborough while testimonials were read out.
It was unexpected and we are truly humbled. Huge thanks to EKC Canterbury College for this wonderful honour and congratulations to all student and employer awardees.
